There will be football lifts after school today from 2:30 - 3:30, for both modified and varsity football. This is open to anyone interested in playing football for the 2026 season. 

Coach Barfield is out today, this week's edition of football trivia Friday will be occurring next Monday. 

Seniors, your yearbook information form is due Tomorrow. A link to the form was sent to your school email address before break, but it can also be found on the senior class and yearbook websites. 

The Jr High Annual Snow Ball Semi Formal Dance will be Saturday, January 17th. Tickets will go on sale on Monday, January 5th. Tickets are $5- please see Mrs. Pomeroy. NO tickets will be sold at the door. Semi Formal Attire encouraged. There will be raffles and food!

Sign ups for Unified Bowling are open for anyone in grades 9-12 . Any questions about this sport please see coach Moore or Coach West

Junior High Tigers, Overall, you have been doing a great job with the Yondr pouches. There are some students who lost their pouches and that situation is being taken care of separately. We are seeing a growing number of students who are forgetting their pouches at home each day. Your honesty in turning phones in at the entrance is appreciated, but we ask that you make sure to bring your pouch with you each day. 

Attention 7th and 8th graders: If you enjoy reading and are looking for an opportunity to discuss challenging works of fiction, join the Literature League. There is an informational meeting during learning block on Wednesday, January 14, in Mr. Pratt’s room, 267.

There will be an informational meeting for all students interested in playing softball from grades 7-12 during learning block on Monday January 12th in Ms. Wandell's room. Please be there.

Attention all boys grade 7-12 interested in playing lacrosse this upcoming season. There will be a meeting held next Tuesday during learning block in Mr. Aldrich’s room, room 92, to discuss preseason workouts, preseason practice opportunities and other important information about the upcoming season. If you are unable to attend, please see Coach Aldrich sometime next week. 

Cortland High Theatre is now accepting scripts for the 26th annual One Act Play Writing Festival. All students are welcome to participate by submitting their own original plays for consideration. The top submissions will be performed by Cortland students at the festival in May. All scripts are due on Sunday, February 15th. Visit the theatre board outside the band room for submission guidelines.
