Attention boys basketball players planning to try out for hoops this winter. On Monday, November 10th, there will be a preseason interest meeting in Coach Milligan’s room during Learning Block. If you cannot attend, please see coach.
Junior and Senior High Students interested in participating in this year’s musical should stop by Mr. Meade Young’s room to pick up audition packets and receive information about signing up for an audition. There will also be a full theater meeting and audition workshop on November 12th after school. Everyone involved with the theater club this school year should plan on attending.
This wraps up week one of the Cortland Football Food Drive. If you haven’t dropped off any non-perishable food yet, you’ve still got two weeks left. Bins are in the main office, junior high office, staff lounge, and Coach Barfield’s room. Let’s keep helping local families this Thanksgiving.

Any indoor track and field athletes that are interested in Pole vault, see Mr Drexler some time this week! Also long jump, triple jump and high jumpers - there are some opportunities to use the OCC indoor track. Please go see Mr Drexler this week!

Attention Seniors: Scholarship applications are beginning to come in. Check the Guidance/Counseling website and click on the Financial Aid & Scholarships link for various links to financial aid and scholarship opportunities. Many more will be posted in the coming months. Click on the CHS Scholarships link for local scholarships. This page is updated as the scholarships come in. The year is going by faster than you think. Be sure to check the due date! It's never too early to start submitting your applications! EVERY senior should complete the Cortland High School General Scholarship!
