Th. 9/19 Just a reminder, Student Senate Packets are due by Friday 9/20. Please return your completed packet to Mrs. Pomeroy in Room 177A or Mrs. McDermott in Room 169. Are you interested in Wrestling? Come attend Open Mats at Parker School on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 6:00-7:45pm. Open to anyone in 7th-12th grade. Today is picture day for junior high schools. Students will be going with their English classes to have them taken in the library. Any student or staff that missed out on having their picture taken earlier this week, please be sure to stop by the library today to have one taken. These pictures are used not only for the yearbook, but for schooltool and other things as well. It’s important that we have pictures of everyone. Thank you! The Library will have decreased pass slots during picture days this week. If you did not sign up for a pass slot, you must stay in your lunch or study hall. Attention all science enthusiasts and friends of science enthusiasts. The Cortland High School Science Olympiad team is getting ready to start another great season and we would love to have you join our team. Compete in different science and engineering-based events across many different disciplines. Students in grades 9-12 are welcome to join. Please see Ms. Latham or Mr. Canestaro for more information or come to our informational meeting on Monday, September 23rd in Room 281 at 2:30. History Club will be having its first meeting of the year, today, Thursday, 9/19 after school in Mr. Colt’s room, room 115 in the High School. Come on by and meet other students interested in history, organize the club, and plan future travel events. Last year History Club traveled to Washington D.C., where will the club go this year? Show up and make your voice heard! The Newspaper Club will hold its first meeting this Monday, Sept. 23rd at 2:30 p.m. in Mr. Marin’s room, which is 221. Are you interested in writing, photography, or graphic design? Come learn about the club and see if you would like to be part of returning a school newspaper to Cortland. The meeting will be finished by 3 p.m. Just a reminder to all 7th and 8th grade artists: if you're interested in the Junior High Art Club, stop by Ms. Haessner's room to pick up an application. All applications are due by September 27th
