November 26 - 27 - Thanksgiving recess




Wednesday 11/25  A

  1. Attention all boys planning to try out for basketball this season.  Open gym sessions will start after Thanksgiving break every Monday and Wednesday evening. 
       Students in grades 7,8,9--your session will run from 5:15 until 6:30

              Students in grades 10,11,12--your session will from from 6:45 until 8:00


              All in attendance will need to be masked for the entire session.  Students will need to enter through the Evening Entrance and wait for a coach.  All players will need to bring a large water bottle.   Any questions, see Coach Milligan

All interested Science Olympiad participants please meet in Mr. C’s room directly afterschool today or at least see Mr Ulrich or Mr. Canestaro!!
  1. Students, it’s time to vote for December’s Teacher of the Month! Cast your vote by Monday, November 30. Vote through the link in the Morning Announcements: 

  1. “All wrestlers, please turn in your raffle ticket envelopes to Mrs. Johnson in room 79B Athletics  by December 3rd. Also, anyone interested in wrestling please sign up with the form on the wrestling room door.” 


And on this day in 1783,  nearly three months after the Treaty of Paris was signed ending the American Revolution, the last British soldiers withdrew from New York City. After the last Redcoat departed New York, U.S. General George Washington entered the city in triumph to the cheers of New Yorkers. The city had remained in British hands since its capture in September 1776.
