Reopening Planning
Our Guiding Principles
The Cortland Enlarged City School District is committed to the safety and well-being of our students, employees, and families. This is particularly true as our community, state, nation, and world face COVID-19. As we return to school, these principles will guide us:- We are employing a variety of procedures to minimize the spread of all respiratory viruses, including COVID-19. These practices will involve all members of our school community.
- The district has infectious disease protocols in place and is cleaning and disinfecting to help minimize the spread of viruses and a variety of other illnesses.
- Physical spaces in our buildings are being altered in order to allow for social distancing and safe transitions.
- Whether learning in-person or remotely, all students will work on the same guaranteed and viable curriulum, meeting five days per week.
