New Member ID Cards
Current health insurance participants - New member ID cards have been mailed out, and each dependent will receive one in his/her own name. They are being out mailed separately so they may not all arrive on the same day.
These member identification cards include additional cost-sharing information (deductible and out of pocket maximum) as a requirement of the Federal Consolidated Appropriations Act (CAA)
Dependent Verification Audit
Note to all active and retired employees enrolled in family coverage - a dependent verification audit will be taking place in February 2022. The memo sent by the Cooperative Health Insurance Fund of CNY provides complete information. Please contact Jen Storey with any additional questions.
COVID-19 At-Home Testing Coverage
In response to new federal guidelines, Excellus BlueCross BlueShield will cover at-home COVID-19 tests at no cost for many members with our pharmacy benefits starting Saturday, Jan. 15, 2022. Members are eligible for no cost tests if they receive their pharmacy benefits from Excellus BlueCross BlueShield through a “commercial” plan.

Health Insurance Coverage Assistance If you or your children are eligible for Medicaid or CHIP and you’re eligible for health coverage from your employer, your state may have a premium assistance program that can help pay for coverage, using funds from their Medicaid or CHIP programs.
