Kathryn HaessnerHello! My name is Kathryn Haessner and I have been teaching art since the Spring of 2017! I was raised in Moravia, NY and then went on to play division twi soccer at Daemen College. There I tried all major involved in the art field until I realized my real passion was working with other artists, so I declared my major in Art Education. Since then, I've worked in Moravia Central Schools for four years in the Jr/Sr buildings. Then I moved to Golden, Colorado and taught at the Cherry Creek District for two years before deciding to move back to Central New York
I;ve enjoyed being back in CNY since I live closer to my family and two younger neices. While the mountains are beautiful, nothing beats the views of the Finger Lakes. I'm a full blow Swiftie, but I tell my students I don't force her music on them. Instead you will hear Taylor Swift music coming from my classroom on my birthday and Taylor Swift's birthday (12/13) I am so excited to work with the talent here at the Corltand District! I've seen amazing talken come from this area and I know there;s more to come! |
