February 24 BOE Highlights

At the Feb. 24 Board of Education meeting, Kristen Shoemaker presented
Amy Worlock with a Tiger Paw Award in recognition of her acceptance into the New York State Master Teacher Program.

During the meeting, the board also approved several resolutions, including a bus bond resolution, a capital reserve fund resolution and a transportation capital reserve fund resolution.

Board members additionally approved the Notice of Annual Meeting, which sets the date for the public budget hearing, identifies polling locations and establishes the timeline for voter registration. The notice also outlines the propositions that will appear on the ballot.

The board scheduled a budget workshop. The workshop will take place March 4th at 5:00 p.m.
