Two Classes Receive Board President's Commendation

Board of Education President Christine Gregory recently presented Mrs. Jennifer Passalugo's Kindergarten class and Mrs. Emily Morse's 5th grade class with the Board of Education Presidential Commendation. Mrs. Passalugo's students shared the story of their day in a packet for Mr. Edwards that he delivered to Senator Lea Webb and Assemblymember Anna Kelles on his visit to the State Capitol to advocate for our students. Senator Webb and Dr. Kelles loved receiving their pictures and stories about Kindergarten.

Mrs. Morse's students wrote thank you letters to Senator Lea Webb and Assemblymember Anna Kelles and gave them to Mr. Edwards for his visit to the State Capitol to advocate for our students. Senator Webb and Dr. Kelles loved receiving their letters. Dr. Kelles was particularly proud of the picture of the class saying, "Randall are my peeps." 

The district is very proud of these two classes, they have gone above and beyond being “Tiger Tough”
