We have been working on following along in written music. This is difficult for some of us, but we're getting better and understanding the musical road maps. We look forward to playing boomwhackers soon!

Our second graders performed wonderfully at their concert! They sang beautifully and had fun too! I really enjoy their spirit and energy.

We have started working on some songs for our upcoming concert in December. The students are really enjoying the songs' swing and boogie.

We are looking at pirate songs and sea shanties this week in honor of International Talk Like a Pirate Day (9/19). The students really enjoy these songs.

Our students have reviewed some songs they learned last year and are on their way to learning new ones.
We have been using rhythm sticks to help us echo rhythms.
