SPORTS!!

The indoor track team continues their season with a throwers meet tonight at 4:30 at the JM. Alivia Reif broke Oumou Diakite’s 6 year old school record in the shot put with a “put” of 28 feet 6 and ¾ inches. Riley Olson double PR’d Wednesday at leagues, improving his weight throw by ANOTHER 2 FEET! He's now 1 INCH from the automatic state qualifier!! Grayden Yunghans is going to throw at tonight's meet, you won't want to miss this guy throwing!!

Ashley Merritt and Juliana Zarcone head to Jamesville-Dewitt tomorrow to compete in pole vault, wish them luck!! They are looking to improve on their season pr’s of 7’6” and 7’, respectively.

CHS Prom closet has given out more than 80 dresses and is in need of more for our Spring Semi Formal and Prom season. Please consider donating Current Teen Style, Gently used Prom or semi formal dresses through the basket in the HS Main office or send to Parker for cleaning. Thank you!

Want to make a difference in our school community? SADD meets Wednesdays at 3:15 in the green room, there is also a Saturday meeting February 7th at 1:00 in the library. Stop by and see what we’re all about. 

 Calling all writers! Don’t forget to submit your original scripts for Cortland High Theatre’s One Act Play Festival. Scripts are due by the end of the day on February 15th. Check the theatre board outside the band room or follow CHT on Instagram for details.

There will be football workouts after school, in the fitness center from 2:30 - 3:30 for anyone interested in playing football for the 2026 season.

Any student in 9th–12th grade is eligible to join. Unified Bowling is a fun, inclusive, and rewarding team experience.

The library will be closed during lunch periods today for a Dance Party!!  Dance Revolution stations will be set up.  A blacklight dance party will be in the makerspace.  Eat your lunch first and then come to the library to dance it up!  There will be a sign in sheet and punch.
