Shared Decision Making

The Cortland Enlarged City School District is committed to shared decision making. To ensure that shared decision making is occurring, a district-level team monitors the process in the following ways:
  1. Monitors plans and proposals of the building level teams for compliance with negotiated contracts, laws, regulations, and policies
  2. Ensures that we are addressing the needs and regulations of the Comprehensive Title grant (Title I Parent Involvement Policy
  3. Prepares the biennial shared-decision making attestation for the Board and state (due in school years that end in an odd number)
Artifacts from the shared decision making committees in each school are archived in a shared folder.

The District has a Board-approved plan.
