Athletic Director Tim Wagoner said, “I am pleased that so many individuals in the Class of 2018 wish to continue to participate in athletics at the collegiate level. Being part of a sports team at the college level is a dream for many athletes. I am proud our Purple Tiger athletics program prepared these students for the next level.”

Senior baseball player Cameron Woodard is attending Alfred State. He said, “Cortland Athletics has been great to me and I have loved playing high school sports as a Purple Tiger. Playing baseball in this program has helped me be the person I am today. I can't wait to use everything I learned from Coach Albright and my other coaches in the baseball program at the next level.”

Senior Kelsey Gibbons will be playing field hockey at Coker College. She said, “I am very excited to be playing field hockey at Coker College especially since it is a brand new Division II program.”

Senior Natalie Gier shared, “I am excited to be trying rowing in college. I know Cornell has a strong tradition of a program that has been to the NCAA National Championships. I cannot wait to be part of Cornell boat club.”

Senior Alaina Rubusin said, “I chose Concordia because it was close to family and I decided to play soccer because I bonded with the team there and soccer is my favorite sport.”

We are proud of ALL of our student-athletes and particularly excited the above ten individuals decided to continue to participate!
