CECSD Transportation Department Wins at Bowl-4-Abilities Event

Congratulations to the Cortland Enlarged City School District (CECSD) Transportation Department!

On Saturday, March 4, a group of CECSD drivers competed in the 12th Annual Bowl-4-Abilities event at Cort-Lanes. The event benefits Access to Independence (ATI) of Cortland County, Inc., and included ATI staff, Board Members, consumers, people with disabilities, friends, family, caregivers, and members of the Cortland community.

With less than two weeks to prepare and no time to spare, the CECSD drivers put together a team after hearing about the event on the radio. The team from CECSD not only bowled for a great cause, but they raised the most money for ATI, walking away with the prized gold pin for their efforts. The pin is currently on display in the Transportation Department.

The team hopes to compete in the Bowl-4-Abilities event next year and bring back the prized gold pin to CECSD once more. Congratulations to the CECSD Transportation Department on this great achievement!
