Important Class Announcements

The homework packet for Thursday will NOT be on this website.  Make sure you don’t lose it.  If you do lose it, you’ll have to come to me to get another.
December IR Assignment due by the end of school on Friday, 1/9 (no lates, no excuses).  Since I gave you extra time, there is absolutely no excuse for anything but a 100.
If you miss class when we have a listening activity, you can make it up by either (1) using this website and listening to the passage via the computer, or (2) checking out a DVD/CD from me in my room and listening to it via DVD player or CD player.
We are involved in INTENSE preparation for the ELA 7 State Exam, which will take place January 20-21. I have TONS of materials on this website, including review videos and PowerPoint presentations. I also have DVD’s for students to check out to help review as well. Make sure you are doing all you can to remain focused and “keep up” with the work until test day. Don’t sell yourself short…do your best!

Don't forget about the random materials checks!  That means you must make sure you have ALL MATERIALS in class every day AND make sure you have all of the handouts I’ve given you so far.  If you don’t have all of the handouts I’ve given you, I would recommend you use this website to print them off!

Grades are accessible online @ mygradebook.com!  I am using your passwords for your math class, which will allow you to view math and English using the same password.  Once you login, there will be an arrow at the top that allows you to choose either math or English.  If you forget your password, contact your math teacher, as I do not have a list of passwords (they do).
