Protecting Your Personal Property While at School

Larceny:  The unlawful taking of property belonging to another with the intent of depriving the rightful owner access or use of the property.

 

1. Only bring items to school that you need for school.

               -   Cell phones are not to be used at school by students.

               -   Ipods and headsets, outside of class use, are not to be used  at                             school.                                                                                   

2. REMEMBER TO LOCK YOUR VALUABLES IN YOUR LOCKER

               -   Never give out your locker combination.

               -   Leaving valuables in your unattended bookbag is a recipe for disaster!

3. Turn in money that you have collected for a fund raiser as soon as possible.

               -   Do not carry around large amounts of money.

4. If you find that you have had something stolen, report it immediately

    to your SRO, teacher or principal.
