 Thanks to the Cortland Junior-Senior High School, PTAG has been given this space to help us get information to the school community.

You may be wondering, what is PTAG? PTAG acts as a liaison between 7th-12th grade parents and the Jr. Sr. High School teachers. Our mission is to foster Parent-Teacher awareness regarding the educational process. Meetings are parent-driven and open to discussion. Each meeting will have a focus and a planned agenda based on what parents are interested in. The principals are also available to answer administrative or academic questions.

This year's big project will be a Wellness & Career Day on April 8th for seventh graders. On this day, there will be a variety of exhibits and activities to educate students on prevention of various risky health behaviors and an additional focus on health careers. By the middle of eighth grade, students set their high school schedules based on possible future careers they may pursue. This day opens the doors for you to be involved in your child's education and help as little or as much as convenient for you. More details will be posted as we get closer to April.

Our meetings are a great opportunity to meet other parents, learn about the new educational standards and requirements from the State in helping your student be a success.
