Voilà mes photos de la France!

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank all of the students who went on this trip.

You are a fantastic group of kids and you certainly made my first chaperoning experience a memorable one.  :)

Day one -

vendredi, le 6 avril - samedi, le 7 avril 2007

Getting ready!

A group of the girls pose just after the security check at JFK... Only a few hours until take-off!!

Our plane!

FINALLY BOARDING!

It's pretty cramped in here...

Hours later, we finally arrive at our destination -

Aéroport Paris - Charles de Gaulle.

After a few minor glitches, we get on our bus and head toward the south of the city.

Once we got to the hostel, we got our room assignments, had a nap and a shower, and met downstairs to prepare for our first walking tour of Paris!

Le Moulin Rouge!

Mmmmm.... Flunch. hehe

A tasty treat

Oooh, pigeons.

A view of Sacré Coeur from the foot of the hill of Montmartre.

Diane and Katie pose for a picture at the bottom of the stairs.

The funicular to the left of the stairs was broken...

So that meant...

That we had to climb up all 300+ steps with everybody else.

The view of Paris from up here was totally worth the hike, though.

Amber, Natalie and Skye agree.

It was a long and busy day, but most of us got a crêpe or two

(or three...)  which made it all worth it.
