Les Vacances Webquest

You and your friends have joined the French club at school.  The group can take a two week trip to any Francophone country in the world, but they are having difficulty choosing.  Each of the groups are going to research a French-speaking country that they would like to visit and present it to the club at the next meeting for members to vote on.

There are over forty Francophone countries in the world representing five different regions on the planet. Your group will need to pick a country and create an oral presentation with some sort of visual like a PowerPoint presentation, a brochure, or a nice poster to convince the other members to choose your country. 

The Task:

Your group is going to create a Powerpoint, Poster or Brochure and oral presentation to convince the other members to choose your country.

Your whole group will be responsible for presenting:

• The location of country including its geographical region and climate.

Each member will be responsible for one of the following topics:

• Local food
• Clothing and entertainment
• Sites to visit (e.g. historical monuments, architecture, galleries)
• Outdoor activities, sporting events, and natural points of interest.
  

You will have to split up the responsibilty between group members.

Please be sure to list all websites from which you have taken any information.  You can print it out on a sheet of paper to give to me or include it at the end of your power point.
